all I can say is that my life is very plain

Red Floral Draped Blouse

This exotic piece came to us from New York via LA via Honolulu. She's had a time of it. Snorting cocaine on 60-ft yachts and drinking pink champagne. She settled down to the quiet life only a few years ago. She's chemical-free but bored with the MidWest and wants a bit of adventure. Possibly in Europe...?

Am I Ulysses? No, but you are now, boy

This lovely cotton dress was conceived in the halcyon summer days of 1969. She grew up on a VW bus for the first five years, her parents finally settling down in South-Eastern Alberta to farm mushrooms. The normal kind. When she turned 18 she set out on her own journeys, recalling the lovely moments of her childhood. After travelling through the Far East, she settled in Saskatoon with us to take advantage of Saskatchewan's stellar Arts Board. She's wanting to keep on trucking, however.

smash the compass, burn the maps, I guess we'll be fine

gold jacket

This shiny jewel of a coat spent many a year foundering in Dolly Parton's wardrobe before we took her on. She rests contented in the vintage section of our shop, but we fear she's grown despondent without Dolly's sequins and rhinestones for company, and so we offer her for adoption to one of you who knows the true definition of fabulous.

and when the night is cloudy, there is still a light that shines on me

Leopard Print Blouse
Size 24

This leopard-print darling grew tired of the society dinners long ago and moved to relative obscurity in the wilds of Saskatchewan only ten years ago. Lately, her heart's been yearning for greener pastures. She's looking to get back to NYC, but will travel anywhere she might find new excitement.

new (to you!) coat

purple coat

This fluffy little mohair number was the secret daughter of Joan Collin's fur hat and one of her big-shouldered jackets (the hat won't name names, but we've always suspected it was that high-necked purple number). Stowed away in the Great White North for years, she's looking for her parents and needs a ticket out of Saskatoon. Would you be so obliging as to...?

new (to you!) belt

This lovely brass-and-pearl belt has seen better days, it's true. But its buckle still glints in the light just as it did when she was waiting outside Robert Plant's dressing room back in '78. She came to us not five years ago, tired of the so-called glory life of a rock journalist, ready to settle down. But she could not rest softly long: her wanderlust is awakened and she begged us to send her out into the world again.
